Itinerary
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to a deluxe houseboat or hotel. Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake to relax before your adventure begins. Overnight stay in Srinagar. Highlights: Dal Lake, Floating Gardens, Local Handicrafts.
Drive to Sonamarg (2.5 hrs) – the base for the Kashmir Great Lakes trek (KGL). Acclimatization walk and trek briefing by your guide. Overnight stay in Sonamarg camp or guesthouse.
Begin your trek through lush meadows and pine forests towards Nichnai Valley. Cross small streams and enjoy panoramic views of snow peaks. Overnight stay in camps at Nichnai.
Trek through Nichnai Pass (13,000 ft) to reach the stunning Vishansar and Kishansar Lakes. Witness mirror-like reflections of the mountains and enjoy an evening at the lakeside camp.
Early trek to Gadsar Lake, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Kashmir. Descend and drive to Aru Valley (base for Tarsar Marsar Trek). Overnight stay at Aru in camp or guesthouse.
Begin the Tarsar Marsar Lake trek, walking through pine forests and flower-strewn meadows. Camp beside the crystal-blue Tarsar Lake under a sky full of stars.
Visit the hidden Marsar Lake, then descend towards the base and drive to Tosa Maidan — the vast, untouched meadow known for its serenity and wildflowers. Explore the meadow and camp overnight.
Early departure for Warwan Valley, a remote, offbeat destination surrounded by towering peaks and deep gorges. En route, visit local villages and waterfalls. Set up camp by the Warwan River.
Full-day exploration of Warwan Valley – trek short routes, visit crystal-clear streams, and witness life in untouched Himalayan settlements. Return to camp for dinner and storytelling by the bonfire.
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar with a heart full of adventure and unforgettable mountain memories.
